Cohiba Siglo III

The Cohiba Siglo III is another excellent cigar from the Cohiba range. The tobacco leaves are the selected from the five finest Vegas Finas de Primera in the San Juan y Martinez and San Luis zones of the Vuelta Abajo region in Cuba. It is expertly constructed with an oily wrapper and a reassuringly golden brown colour.

As always with Cohiba cigars, the draw is excellent and the burn even and consistent. I've found the whole of the Cohiba range to have an unique pre-lighting smell which reminds me of honey or sweet caramel. And of course after lighting the aroma gets even better.

The Siglo III is a medium strength cigar with a rich and creamy taste. The first flavours to appear are sweeter lighter flavours such as honey and cream, then as the cigar burns down more spicey flavours develop such as cinnamon, peppers and cedar. The cigar ends with a wonderful rich experience of dark chocolate, coffee, leather and wood. The ash is always firm and stays glued to the cigar until you tap it off.

The Cohiba Siglo III is a superb cigar that is a must have for every humidor. This cigar is why we smoke Cuban cigars.

My Favorite Cigar 9/10
The Siglo III has been my favourite cigar for a long time now. Great construction and a great draw combined with the classic cuban cigar taste make it a winner for me. The taste is dark and complex and tastes of coffee and dark chocolate. Later in the cigar I tasted spices, nutmeg and cinnamon which just added wonderfully to the complexity.

This cigar is one of Cohiba's finest and deserves a place in every serious cigar smokers humidor. Well I've prattled on enough and think I'll go light up another of these beauties.

One Of The Best 9/10
This is a very good cigar. The beginning was mild and very creamy and became medium bodied about a third of the way through. The taste was typically Cohiba with hints of leather, cinnamom and cedar. The construction was flawless and the burn was a delight. No need to worry about this baby going out. Smoking this cigar is like having a little party in my mouth. The next day I could still taste the Siglo and it tasted great. I'll be buying a box of these for my humidor very soon and recommend you do the same.
