What Is Cigar Bloom

Cigar bloom is a greyish fuzz that can sometimes appear on a well aged cigar. It is not mold, and it is completely harmless. It is a residue from the fermenting oils within the cigar, and is actually indicative that you have ideal storage conditions! If you are not sure if it is bloom or mold, try wiping it off with your fingers. If it wipes off easily, it's mold. If you can't easily remove it, and it is more of a white color, it is probably mold.
